First Hurdles, of (50 isovs; one mile and a half.—(6) Morning Quest, 9.0 (Dunn), 1; (2) Puccini, 9.8, 2; (1) Lord Hereford, 9.12, 3. Jazz King was scratched. ‘Won by three lengths; neck. Time—2.47 2-5.
Telegraph Hack, of 60 sovs; seven furlongs.—(4) Small Boy, 7.8 (Patterson), 1; (3) Blygain, 8.2, 2; (2) Alby, 9.2, 3. Also started: Begorrah, Head. Time: 1.311-5.
Maiden Scurry, of 50 sovs; weight 8.0; six furlongs.—(2) Acranna (Young), 1; (8) Rulette, 2; (4) Mickie, 3. Vultes, Wine Pit and Red Hunting were scratched. Length; half a length. Time—l.l6.
