OHAEAWAI SHEEP FAIR
An average entry of sheep, which was offered to a good attendance of buyers, came forward at the Ohaeawai fair yesterday, reports Dalgety and Co. Ltd.
Bidding was brisk on all lines, prices being well up to late rates, a total clearance being effected under the hammer.
Quotations: —Good 2-tooth ewes, 28/6 to 29/6; maiden 4-tooth ewes, 28/6; full-mouth ewes, 16/ to 18/; aged and broken mouth, 10/ to 14/; Romney ewe lambs, 16/9; mixed sex lambs, 13/ to 15/7; one-shear Romney rams, 2 gns to 4 gns.
