ROWBOAT USED TO TOW CATTLE Lassooing cattle round the horns and then towing them by boat—in many instances over a mile —that was the good turn which Hikurangi relief workers did for their farming neighbours yesterday. They were released by the Hikurangi Town Board for the day, and in a boat, rowed over hundreds of acres of submerged paddocks. From the property of the Whangarei Land Company. 70 head of live stock were rescued.
