At the Hamilton sale there was a small entry of sheep and beef and ' large numbers of pigs. Competition , was keen. The New Zealand Loan 1 and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report: Prime fat wethers sold at 25/ to 27/9; good fat wethers, 22/6 to 24/6; light, 23/; ;extra heavy fat ewes, 18/ to 19/6; good quality fat ewes, 16/ -o 18/; light, 14/ to 15/6; ;heavy lambs, 22/ to 24/; good quality fat lambs, 19/ to 21/; pen of 96 good store wether lambs, 18/2; well-grown store lambs. 16/ to 17/6; good store lambs, 14/ to 15/6; small, to 13/6.
