Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London principals, Messrs Samuel Page and Sons, Ltd., dated December 5, reading:—Butter: Rather more inquiries this end of the week. New Zealand finest, salted, 91/ to 92/; Danish, f.0.b.. 106/ to 108/; Australian, finest unsalted, 102/ to 104/; Australian, Finest salted, 90/ to 91/; 7 Australian, g.a.q., 87/ to 88/. Cheese: The market is quiet. New Zealand, white, 51/; New Zealand coloured, 53/6; Canadian, white, 56/ to 58/; coloured, 56/ to 60/.

Messrs W. W. Bowker received a cable from London this morning, stating that New Zealand finest butter was selling from 91/ to 92/; first grade, 90/ to 91/. Danish was selling at 124/. Cheese: New Zealand white, 51/ to 52/; coloured, 52/ to 54/. Canadian, white and coloured, 59/ to 60/.

The New Zealand Producers’ Cooperative Marketing Association, Ltd., also received a cable from London today stating that New Zealand butter was selling at from 91/ to 92/, and Danish at 128/.( The butter market is dull, and there is less inquiry. Messrs Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received' the following cable, dated London, December 6, reading:—Butter, 91/. Market quiet New Zealand cheese, white 51/ to 52/. coloured 54/. The New Zealand Dairy Board has fixed minimum price for f.o.b. sales for a period from December 7 on the basis of butter lid, a fall of id, and cheese, s£d, unchanged.
