KAITAIA

The- final of the series of fortnightly church dances, organised by Mrs Lunn, was held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday eyeping. It proved the most successful of* the season, there being an attendance of nearly 100 people. The musicians were Misses F. Parker and Z. Masters (piano and violin), while extras were played by Misses A. Kerr and P. Spyve, Mr A. Logan and the Rev. Blackwood Moore. The Monte Carlo prizes, which were kindly donated by Mr and Mrs E. Parker, were won by Mr A. Head and Miss D;. k Graham. Mr Noel Simms and his 1 partner were the winners of the other j novelty. Mr Holder was M.C. Supper was served by the ladies. During the evening, thanks and appreciation of what they had done to help with these dances, Were conveyed by the Rev. Blackwood Moore to Mrs Lunn, Mr Holder and Misses Z. Masters and F. Parker.
