GERMANY ANGRY
MR CHURCHILL’S SPEECH. PRESS MAKES INDIGNANT ' COMMENT. (Received 10 a.m.) BERLIN. October '25. The press is indignant at Mr Churchill’s speech, in which he stated that German rearmament was a greater menace than the Italo-Abyssinian war. The speech is described as specially interesting in view of the likelihood of Mr Churchill becoming Fh’st Lord of the Admiralty in the next Cabinet. The Nazi press shows no restraint in its comments, and describes Mr Churchill as an unscrupulous wirepuller and a friend of Jewish bankers, who are abusing his authority to direct British enmities against Germany.
