Dr. James Gibb, p.D., who, for many years, was a prominent figure in the Presbyterian Church, was shown yesterday, when hundreds gathered in St, John’s Church, Wellington, the scene of much of his pastoral work, to honour his memory. There were present representatives of other denominations, the Presbyterian colleges and orphanages, the New Zealand branch of the League 'of Nations Union, and other sections of the community. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. R, Blanchard, minister of St. John’s, assisted by other ministers, and the address was delivered by trio Rt. Rev. Dr. John Dickie, Principal of Knox College, Dunedin, and Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church. The interment took place at Karon cemetery.
