A stork at the Wellington Zoo had built her nest *bn -the ground quite close to one of the paths along which people are frequently passing, but the bird pays no attention to them. She does not, however, appear to be too satisfied with her nesting arrangements, but this may be because it is oh the ground and nbt at an elevation, which is usual with the stork.
