KAITAIA
INJURED WHILE SLEDGING,
Mr D. H. Lewis, Kaitaia, met with a nasty accident on Monday while working with a team of horses and a sledge. In turning the sledge, Mr Lewis was thrown heavily to the ground, with the sledge on top of him. As a result his head was badly cut and he also received several cuts and bruises on other parts of the body. The head wound had to be stitched by a doctor.
