OBITUARY
MRS E. T. GASH. AFTER SEVERE ILLNESS. The death occurred in Auckland today of Mrs Mary Gash, wife of the late Mr Edwin Gash, of Otaika. MiGash died on June 20 last. Mrs Gash had been ill for some time, and was in Auckland where she was receiving treatment. With her husband she had resided at Otaika for about ten years, while Mr Gash was teaching first at the Otaika School, then at Whangarei, and, at the time of his death, at Ruakaka. There are- five young children. With her husband, Mrs Gash was greatly respected by a very wide circle of friends, and her untimely death will come as a great shock to the many in the Whangarei district who knew her. The interment will take place at Auckland tomorrow.
