PARUA BAY
The Waikaraka Tennis Club held a dance in the Parua Bay Hall on Thursday, October 17, when a jolly time was spent. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr H. Morey and Miss G. Thomas. Mrs Squires played an extra. A dance which caused much fun and excitement was a confetti and streamer onestep. Mr Ron Stuart was M.C. A dainty supper was served by the Wai : karaka ladies.
The Parua Bay Tennis Club had a fine day for the opening of their courts on Saturday, 19th inst. Visitors attended from Whareora, Waikaraka, and Whangarei Heads, and a pleasant day was passed.
