HOW COULD HE?

Some small boys were playing a cricket match on the village green, when, suddenly the bowler cried: “How’s that?” “Out, leg before!” replied the umpire. “But I haven’t moved my leg and it is not before the wicket!” argued the batsman. “Oh, isn’t it?” cried the young umpire. “Well you keep your leg just where it is and come and see for yourself!”
