LABOUR DAY ARRANGEMENTS The following hours will be observed on Monday, October 28 (Labour Day):— Postal Branch: Closed in all branches. Mails for Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North. Frankton Junction and Wanganui will close at 8 a.m. A clearance of street receivers will be made at 7 a.m. Correspondence usually delivered by postmen may be obtained at the Post Office counter, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. The telegraph branch will be closed all day. The telephone exchange will be open continuously.
