BUSES DRIVEN BY GAS SUBSTITUTE FOR PETROL
(Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 18. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says that, in order to economise in petrol, ten gas-driven motor buses will shortly appear * m Berlin, and in Hanover gas tanks have been, provided for use by motorists. Three cylinders of gas have been found tb be equivalent to nine gallons of petrol. The example is being followed in other cities.
