CHAIR OF DIVINITY
AT CAMBRIDGE. NON-CONFORMIST APPOINTED. FIRST SINCE CROMWELL’S DAYS. [British Official Wifeless.] (Received 9 a.m.) RUGBY, July 20. The Rev. C. H. Dodd has been elected to the Morris-Hulse Chair ot Divinity at Cambridge University. Mr Dodd is a well known authority on Biblical exegesis. Formerly, he was a Congregational minister, and his appointment marks an historic departure, as he will be the first NonConformist appointed to a Professorship of Divinity at Cambridge since the days of Cromwell.
