Dodd has been elected to the Morris-Hulse Chair ot Divinity at Cambridge University. Mr Dodd is a well known authority on Biblical exegesis. Formerly, he was a Congregational minister, and his appointment marks an historic departure, as he will be the first NonConformist appointed to a Professorship of Divinity at Cambridge since the days of Cromwell.
