Miss Goodwin, of Melbourne, is paying a short visit to her parents at Kara. The'Rev. A. C. Nelfeon, recently appointed minister of the Beresford Street Congregational Church, will arrive from Australia by the Aorangi on Monday. He will be inducted next Thursday. Dr. Eugene Lynch, radium officer to the Wellington Hospital, who for the past year has been, doing post-graduate work in radiology in London and on the Continent, will return to New Zealand next month.

Mr W. F. Robinson, lecturer in surveying and building construction at the Canterbury College Engineering School, is shortly to retire. Mr Robinson has been a member of the college staff since 1912. Next week Miss A. Pattrick, who was for 14 years until September last director of Plunket Nursing for New Zealand, will leave Wellington for Canada at the invitation of the Child Welfare authorities in Montreal, to confer with them ,on matters affecting the welfare of mothers and babies.
