CLYDE SHIPBUILDING. QUARTER OF WORLD TOTAL.' NEXT YEAR’S PROSPECTS. - ’ IBritish Official Wireless.l (Received 9 a.m.) RUGBY, December 27. The shipyards on the Clyde maintained their leading position in the shipbuilding world during 1934 by the construction of 67 vessels totalling 268,121 tons.- This represents about 25 per cent, of the world’s total production in the United Kingdom. . . The prospects for next year are considered to be fairly satisfactory, but i the output is still only about one-third of the record production of 1913.
