POLICEMAN SHOT
INDIAN CRIME. (Received 11 a.m.) LUCKNOW, December 28. A servant shot dead Andrew Crawford, superintendent of police at Mirzapur, a town on the Ganges, 45 miles from Benares. At the time of the tragedy Superintendent Crawford was asleep in a camp 65 miles distant from headquartei’s.
