CONDITION OF CHATHAM. MELBOURNE, November 9. Chatham has had a recurrence of his shoulder trouble. His trainer states that Chatham will sprint in the morning. Unless he goes well he may not run in the Linlithgow Stakes. At an auction sale today the two-year-old colt, Gee Up was sold to H, R. McCormick for 500 guineas. Cardinal, a two-year-old colt by Manfred, was sold to R. J. Shaw for 375 guineas, and Wake Up, a colt by Burnewang, to A, Brown, for 350 guineas.
