TWENTY-FOUR ENTRIES [Per Press * Association.—Copyright.] TIMARU, This Day. Nearly 1000 bandsmen and officials will assemble in Timaru for the New Zealand Brass Bands Association annual contest, which is to be held from February 18 to 23. Eleven A grade and 13 B grade bands have entered, as Hollows: ■
A Grade.—lnvercargill Civic, Kaikorai, Nelson Garrison, Palmerston North Garrison, Port Nicholson, Queen Alexandra’s Own, St. Kilda. Wanganui Garrison, Wellington Municipal Tramways. Woolston, Timaru Municipal.
B Grade—Artillery Bahd Southern Command, Ashburton. Band of First Southland Regiment, . Christchurch Municipal, Gore Municipal Greymouth Municipal, Hastings Citizens, Masterton North City Silver,'Taranaki Regimental, New Plymouth Regimental, Wellington Boys’ Institute, Wellington Artillery and Westport Municipal.
