SIR W. PERRY APPOINTED CHAIRMAN. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) PALMERSTON N. t This Day. Sir William Perry, of Mas ter ton, was unanimously elected chairman of the Massey College Council for the remainder of the year, to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Sir George Fowlds. At a meeting of the council, tributes were paid to the services Sir George Fowlds had given to the institution, of which he had been chairman from its inception. A motion of condolence with his relatives was passed.
