THEFT AT WHANGAREI
CAMERON ADMITS GUILT. SENTENCE DEFERRED. (Special to "Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. Six charges of failing to account for money received on behalf of his former employers, Sclincideman and Sons, Limited, were admitted by Edward Tennyson Smith Cameron, a midI die-aged man, in the Supremo Court j yesterday. Accused, who was represented by Mr Turner, was staled to have committed the offences in Whangarci, where he had been employed between December 2, 19.°.3, and April 27 last. The total amount involved in the charges was £29 1/. A number of other charges were withdrawn after Mr Hubble, for the Crown, had stated it was not proposed- to offer evidence. Mr Justice Fair remanded accused for sentence.
