PRESBYTERIAN CELEBRATIONS
GIFT OF COMMUNION TABLE A communion tabic, as a memorial to the founders and pioneers of the Presbyterian Church in this district, will be installed during the seventyfifth anniversary celebrations in June. This decision was arrived at last | night, when the : .General „ Committee met to consider the matter. A fortnight ago a circular wont forth to the members of .the congregation, ashing to what extent contributions to such a memorial might be expected. The response was very pleasing, approximately £4O being offered, and as the cost of the table will be approximately £OO, it was decided to issue instructions forthwith for its construction. The opinion was expressed that the balance required, £lO, would be forthcoming. The ready response from the congregation for this laudable project was very gratifying to the committee.
