PRICES IN PROVINCE. (Special to “Northern Advocate,") AUCKLAND, This Day. The Fanners’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports that at Aiatamata yesterday there was an exceptionally heavy yarding of fat pigs, it being necessary to vc-yard 150. There n g bench of buyers, who particularly sought piime baconers, aud 1 Lose met with spirited competition at prices in advance of Frank ton rates. Tho top price, 70/, was realised, for seven pigs, while several pens fetched 60/ and 68/. Porkers remained firm at late quotations. Theie was a. larger entry of stores aud weanors than usual, and values were slightly higher. Practically the whole yarding of all classes ■changed hands under the hammer. Values were: —Choppers, 40/ to 61/; prime heavy baconcrs, 66/ to 70/; heavy, (52/ to 66/; medium, 5(5/ to (51/; light, 50/ to 55/; heavy ■■porkers ami, unfinished baconers, 38/ to 45/; medium porkers, :i 1 / to 3(5/; light porkers, 25/ to 30/; stores, 16/6 to .10/6; slips, 0/ to 15/; weaners, to !<•/; Tamworth ■boars, 67/0 to 75/. At Taumaruuui yesterday best weaners made to 12/6, ami light porkers changed hands at 23/,
