CLAIMS OF BLENHEIM (Per Press Association.— Copyright.) BLENHEIM, This Day, That the advantages offered by Blenheim as a site for the third air base for Ngav Zealand are well appreciated by the department, and that the subject Aviil receive attention when measures have boon* approved by the Government for the strengthening ol the Now Zealand Air Force are under consideration, Avas conveyed to the Marlborough Progress League by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. J. G. Cobbc, yesterday in reply to representations on the subject. The league decided to take no further . action in the meantime, satisfaction being' expressed with the Minister’s letter.
