PRESENT SYSTEM EXPENSIVE. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. The opinion that instead of the Royal Show fixture being allocated in different parts of the country there should he some finality in its allocation, and that the most suitable agreement should be to hold it in Christchurch and Palmertson. North alternately, was voiced by members of the general committee of the ManaAvatuWest Coast A. and P. Association, when it AA r as decided to fonvard a remit on these lines to the' conference of A. and P. Associations and the Royal Agricultural Society. It was stated that the present system of allocation, Avas unsatisfactory to those preparing show stock, owing to the fluctuation of dates of the*associations staging the exhibition; and further, that the system \A r as causing unnecessary expense in the provision of buildings for accommodation of the Royal ShoAv stock.
