MAY TOTAL £30,000,000 HALF GOES TO TREASURY (British Official Wireless.l (Received 9 a.m.) RUGBY, August. 15. In the event of the late Sir John Elliman’s estate being valued at £30,000,000, the estate duties would amount to about *£15,000,000. The testator provided more or less liquid resources to the value of £6,000,000 for an immediate payment on account of estate duties.
