ON MINIATURE RANGE. BARGAIN STORE CUP. j A shoot in the series for the Bargain Store Cup was the programme at the Whangarei Miniature rifle range on Tuesday. The winners, Misses McMullan and Hamilton and F. Simpson, each gained the possible with their handicaps added, and annexed the trophy for the evening. A sweepstake was won by S. C. Wells, who shot the possible, 70, off the rifle. H. W. Davies, 65, 5—70, was second, and C. Roberts, 69, scr—69, third. In the shoot-off for the president’s trophy a tie resulted between S. C. Wells, 99, I—loo, coupled with Miss Hamilton, 94, 6—loo, and S. E. Lowe, 97, 3—loo, coupled with F, .Jennings, 93, 7—loo. This will be decided on Friday evening. S. Withers shot the possible, 100, off the rifle and beat M. Stewart, 98, for the A Grade Buckley Rooster, H. W. Davies, 89, beat E. A. McKinlay, 88, and Mrs. Hill, 87, for the B Grade Rooster.
