STRIKE OVER
DECISION OF MEN, (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) NAPIER, This Day. The relief workers’ strike in the Napier and Hastings districts is over, the Napier men at a mooting last night having decided to return to work today. Throughout yesterday at Hastings the men made steady application for work, until by late afternoon practically all w'ore on their jobs. PROPOSAL DEFEATED. (Special to “Northern Advocate.’’) AUCKLAND, Tins Day. At Avondale yesterday about 130 relief workers attended a meeting at, which a proposal to strike was defeated by tw'o to one.
