bay of islands rugby union. LIFE MEMBERSHIP CONFERRED. At a. special general meeting of the Bay of Islands Rugby Union, Mr T. .1. V. Dunlop, of Kawakawa, was made a life member of the union in appreciation or his services in establishing the union on a sound footing, both financially and otherwise, during his term of five years as president. Messrs A. E. .1. Corr, C. Ludbrook and others, eulogised the work performed on behalf of Rugby in the North by Air Dunlop, who was president of the Bay of Islands Rugby Union from 1025 to 393], and president of the North Auckland Rugby Union in .1032.

Air H, S. Ludbrook, of Ohaeawai, was also appointed a life member of the union in appreciation of the support he has given to Rugby football over a long number of years, and for. his generous action in supplying what is claimed to bo the best Rugby ground in. the North.
