LEGACY FROM IRELAND

A VALUABLE ESTATE. EX-WHANG AREI MAN’S GOOD 1 FORTUNE. Good luck has come the way of Air Gibson Hall, of Lake Road, Devonport, who has been left a valuable estate in Ireland. Accompanied by Mr C. T. Keegan, an Auckland solicitor, he will leave on his way to Ireland by the Marama on July 28.

The property to which Air Hall has become heir Vis in County Monaghan, which is on the Free-State border. The principal seat is known ns Cully House. In addition there is a. big area of land and other houses. Air Hall learned of his good fortune some time ago, and has already received a considerable amount of money from the estate. Recently a legal firm in Ireland wrote advising Air Hall that it would be in his best interests to come to Ireland as soon as possible. - ■

Air Hall said that it had been a family property for hundreds of years and was entailed. It was his good fortune that it eventually eajie to him as the last representative of a well-known Irish family.

Mr Hall, who is 30 Vests of age, and unmarried, is a son of the late Dt-TV G. H. Hall, who for many years was * well known in the Whangarei district/ After leaving King’s College he played Rugby for the King’s College Old Boys’ Club, and later went 5n to his imclsi’s sheep station in North Auckland. -He was later engaged in farming in i tlib Bay of Plenty. He was a keen man, and was a member of the WhangjU - rei Rowing Club. When Air Hall comes back to New Zealand, which he 1 hopes will be before Christmas, he •intends to take up sheep farming; ; v ' ’
