IDLE COAL MINERS
BALLOT BEING TAKEN. (Special to “Northern Advocate. ’ ’) HUNTLY, Tuesday. A mass meeting of miners was held at TTuntly this morning to decide whether Ihe men will resume work at the various mines in the Waikato which have been idle for a fortnight. After a dismission lasting two hours a ballot was taken. Meetings are to bo hold at the TJotowaro, Benown and Glen Afton mines this afternoon, when further ballots will be taken. The result will not be made known until the votes have been counted together.
