GOOD LIST OF SALES
(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. Business on the Stock Exchange has been quite busy over the last 24 hours, and a good list of sales has been recorded. Speaking generally, values have been well maintained, and in some cases fresh advances have been recorded. Government stocks were again in request at this morning’s call, 'with -1 per cents asked for at par and P>l per cento at £!)S 10/. The only offering was a parcel of 4 per cents, 10-10 stock, at £lOl. Auckland Gas shares were llrm, and after last night’s sale at £1 2/0 there were buyers at £1 2/1, but no sellers. Australian Gaslight, Ltd. shares were on offer at £7 1/0. Waihis were steady, with buyers at £1 2/0 and ladders asking £1 0/0. Northern Steams were on offer Oil lower at 7/, and Dominion Breweries had sellers at. 8/0. Noon Call. The following sales were recorded at the noon call: South British, £.‘! 5/: Pukemiro, £1; Colonial Sugars, £55 15/; Wilsons Cement, £1 2/C; Golconda, lid; Waihi, £1 3/.
