SHEEP DOG TRIALS

WHANG ARE f. COUNT Y FIXTURE. Owing to the unusually large number of entries for the Whangarei County Sheep Dog Trials this year, the club was unable to complete the competitions yesterday, and the Short Head, Drive and Yard, which was started yesterday afternoon, was continued today. Though a good many of the competing dogs did not complete the coursfc, the judge stated yesterday that no competitor need be disappointed, as the sheep were supplied from two or three different farms and were very stiff.
