Next morning Russell was headed for, and, after a two-days’ stay, a course was set for Whangaroa, whence they made for the Gavalli Islands, where they spent another few days. On the 10th the party went to Russell, where they stayed for six days. They then left for Whangarei on the 16th. Monday and Tuesday were put in at Urquhart’s Bay and One Tree Point respectively, and on Wednesday the party moored at the town wharf. Immediately after arrival, adjustments to' the propeller were effected and the fuel supply replenished. Shortly after lunch to-day, the Betty G left for Mokohinau and other fishing grounds, to commence activities. It is hoped to be in Auckland again about Hondav.
