FISHING 'LAUNCH
TRIP TO THE NORTH

AUCKLAND, This Day
About 20 days ago the fishing launch Betty G . left Auckland to make Whangaroa the headquarters for a fishing trip, with Messrs. Bruce and Thomas Gibb, the owners, of Hamilton, and Mr. John H. Smith, of Otorohanga, on board. The launch has not been reported. Since the party left they have sent no fish to Auckland from Whangaroa, and have not .made any communications with Auckland. Fishermen, who have returned from the North, did not see or hear of the launch. She is a 40-foot craft, with the registered number A.K. 210:1.
