MINISTERIAL VISIT
TO COMMEXCE TOMORROW
DEPUTATIONS IN EVENING. A FULL ITINERARY. Mr A. J. Murdoch, M.P., has received official advice that the Minister of Lands, the Hon. E. A. Ransom, and the Minister of Education, the Hon. R. Masters, Avill arrive at Hikurangi at .‘J p.m. tomorrow. Mr Ransom proposes prior to inspecting the swainp to hear deputations in reference to the imposition of a drainage rate and the supply of water to Tanekaha settlers.
The Ministerial party will arrive at Whangarei in time for dinner. In the evening both Ministers will deal with deputations in the County Council Chambers. At 7..10 Mr Masters will listen to representations from the Whangarei Primary Schools Association, and from the High School Board of Governors. The Whangarei County Council has a large number of subjects to bring before Air Ransom, who will commence dealing with delegations at 8 o'clock.
On .Saturday the Minister of Land. 4, wil. inspect the Harbour Board reclamations, the Wharekolie Block, and, it lime permits, the Buketoitoi Block.
Unfortunately the schools will be closed, but Mr Masters intends to inspect the High School buildings and grounds.
On Sunday the Ministers will leave for Auckland.
