Extra choice ox sold to 20/ per 1.00 lb; choice and prime, .17/ to 19/; secondary and plain, 14/ to 16/; prime' young cow and heifer beef, 14/ to IS/; secondary, 10/ to 13/. Heavy prime steers ranged in price from £6 10/ to £7 5/; lighter, £5 7/6 to £0 7/6; light, £4 to £5 5/; small and unfinished, £3 to £3 15/. Extra heavy prime young cows and hoi fens, £5 2/6 to £5 15/; heavy, £4 to £5; lighter, £3 to £3 ,17/6; light, £2 2/6 to £2 17/6; others, £1 to £2.
