Mills 07, Sale 103 not out, Cowie 83). Rodney: First innings, 225; second innings, 128 for 0 wickets (Vipond 40, P. Dunning 32, W. Dunning 27).
Second match. —Auckland: First innings, 31d (Sutherland 70, Sale 54, Cowie dO, Ferguson 38); second innings, 127 for (5 wickets (Sutherland 52). Rodney: First innings, 325 (W. Dunning 84, C. Farman 40, Vipond 45, E. Wyatt 45).
