Favoured with ideal weather, the Dargaville Bowling Club held a progressive pairs tourney over the Easter holidays. Playing on Good Friday for the vice-president’s (F. A. Jones) trophies, J. Tremaine and M. Franich were the winners. .
On Easter Monday the president’s (11. B. Armitage) trophies were won by W. P. Begg and George Martin, with T. E. Jones and C. L. Bagnall runners-up.
