TOLL OF THE MOTOR
YOUTH FATALLY INJURED. WHEN CAR CAPSIZES. (Special to “Northern Advocate HAMILTON, This Day. Fatal injuries were received by Wallace McKenzie, aged IG, a Te Puke grocer’s assistant, when the motor car in which he was riding capsized near Matamata on Saturday evening. McKenzie was pinned under the ear and severely crashed. He was taken to the Matamata Hospital, but on Sunday evening was removed to the Waikato Hospital, where lie died last night. He was a. son of Mr .Tames McKenzie, of Herbert Street, Te Puke.
HIT BY CAR. PEDESTRIAN - SUCCUMBS. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) HUNTLY, This Day. Mr John G, Phillips, a single man, aged do, of Huntly, was knocked down by a ear near Huntly last evening and died from head injuries while on the way to the Hamilton Hospital.
