PcersAvick Highwcight Handicap, of 150 sovs; nine furlongs.—(5—r 5) Elude, 9.12, 1; (4 —4) Tea Garden, 9.8, 2; (3—3) Strong Light, 9.10, 3. Wealth was scratched. Won by a length. Time—l.ss 4-5.
Autumn Nursery, of 175 sovs; for two-year-olds; six furlongs. —(9-7) The Masquerader, 7.5, 1; (4-4) Gaysome, 7.0, 2; (1-1) Trivet, 9.3, 3. Red Manfred was scratched. Won by a length. Time, 1.13.
Yaldhurst Handicap, of 175 sovs; one mije.—(l-1) Argentic, 8.5, I; (6-6) Mount Boa, 7.11, 2; (3-3) Metal Bird, 7.9, 3. Monastic was scratched. Won by t\yo lengths. Time, 1.41 1-5.
Addington Handicap, of 150 sovs; one mile.—(4-4) Chief Light, 8.10, 1; (3-3) Polydora, 7.9, 2; (7-8) Knockalong, 7.7, 3. Cottesmore was scratched. Won by a neck. Time —1.39 3-5.
RIVERTON RACES. FINAL DAY’S SPORT. (Per Pres- Association.—-Copyright.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. The third and final day’s racing conducted by the Riverton Racing Club is being held to-day. The weather is again fine'and there is a good attendance. Results: —
Orepuki Novice Stakes, of 100 sovs; six furlongs.—(6-6) Coroner, 9.0, 1; (1-1) Obligement, 8.9, 2; (5-5) Island Linnet, 5.7, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 1.19 3-5.
Wakatipu Trot, of 120 sovs; one mile and a half.—(lo-10) Ozanum, ser, 1; (2-2) Azure, scr, 2; (4-4) Just Shandy, 108yds, 3. ( Won by a short head. Christian’s Wave, Chiming Lu. Lucky Lee, Hard Times, Roa King and Sea Mist were scratched. No time telegraphed.
Fiord Handicap, of 200 sovs; one mile.—(.l-1) Water Power, 8.1, Ij (3-3). The Smuggler, 9.2, 2; (7-6) Loeksley, 7.0, 3. Palermo, Red Boa and Membo were scratched. Won by a length. Time, 1.46.
