BAILLIE-STEWART SENTENCE
FATHER'S INDIGNATION. “SAVAGE AND BRUTAL." (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 17. The father of Lieutenant BaillieStewart, who wms recently given five years’ imprisonment and cashiered from the Army for communicating official secrets to enemy agents, has sent a letter to the press protesting against the “ savage and brutal senfence against my boy, whpse misfortune was to meet those inhuman creatures, Herr Obst and ‘Marie Louise.’” ’ ■ ; He points out that his son only supplied them with books and photographs procurable by the public.
