OBITUARY
MR F. G. SARGOOD. The (loath has occurred in London of Mr R G. Sargood, son of the Into Sir Frederick Sargood, ono of the founders of tho firm of Sargood, Son and Ewen, Limited, in Australia and New Zealand, at tho age of 71. Cabled advice to tins effect, was received in Auckland yesterday. Mr Sargood was governing director of Sargood, Gardiner, Limited, Sydney, and was visiting London. Tie was a. brother of Mr P. R. Sargood, of Tinned in, governing director of Sargood, Son and Ewen, Limited, and Mrs C. TV. Webster, of 'Victoria Avenue, Remuera.
MISS BELLE BENNETT. NOTED FILM ACTRESS. (Received 0 a.in.) HOLLYWOOD, No vein her Tbo doatli has occurred of Miss Belle Bennett, aged 41, of film fame. Probably she was one of the bestknown portrayers of mother roles on the screen.
