SHEEPSKIN SALES

At the sheepskin sales, 7013 bales were offered, including 1109 from Now Zealand. About 90 per cent, were sold. 1 There was a large attendance, with good Home and Continental competition. Compared with August sales, Australian merinos were
unchanged; crossbreds, fine, 5 per cent, dearer; medium and low,' -unchanged. New Zealand halfbreds • wore at par to d per cent, cheaper. Crossbreds generally were unchanged and hoggets slightly dearer.
