MEAT EXPORTS
NEW ZEALAND QUOTA
(Received 1.40 pjn.) LONDON, OctoW 27,;
Dr. Burgin, for the Board "of Trade, ii. reply to questions in' the House of Commons, said that the maximunuincrease of 10 per cent contemplated under the Ottawa agreement in the case of frozen would give an additional quantity of 105,000 evft.. for Australia in 1933, and 40,000 for New Zealand for the season ending. August 31 next. The .limitation of the Dornmion exports did not apply to 1934. He did not think that any further limitation of Britain’s foreign meat; imports beyond the figures stated inutile Ottawa agreements would in any sense be a departure from the spirit of the agreement. •
