“PHYSICAL WEAKNESS”
GRAVE CHARGES LAID. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, .This Day, A retired draper, Frederick Morrison, aged 51, of Surfdale, Waiheke, appeared before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court this morning on two charges of indecently assaulting males. . Four youths gave evidence against accused and spoke which they said occurred while they stayed at Morrison’s home at Surfdale. Detective H. E. Knight said that after investigating the complaint he went to Surfdale on September 7 with a. warrant for the arrest of accused. Ho told Morrison of the allegations made by the four youths and -warned him that as he was to be arrested he need not make any statement. Morrison said: “I cannot dopy this. It is a physical weakness.’’ Morrison,, who was represented by counsel, pleaded not guilt}* to both charges, reserved his defence, and was committed to the Supreme Court for ttiaL
