DEGRADING PRACTICE
CARD-PLAYING EMBARGO.
(Times Cable,) BUCHAREST, August 13
The Minister of Justice, Mr Hainangio, in a circular sent to the judges throughout the country, denounces card-playing as • a degrading practice. He forbids the magistrates to play, and orders them to resign from card clubs. Disobedience to the the order means the deprivation of 15 days’ salary and a liability to dismissal.
