JUVENILE OFFENDERS
A SERIOUS INCREASE
PROBATION OFFICER ALARMED
(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day.
Three of the four youths who broke into and robbed many slot telephones and stamp machines tvere sentenced today to reformative detention. The Probation Officer remarked on the increase in crime by youths, and said that already this week 10 young men had been sent to Borstal, and there was another batch to come. The position was becoming serious, and he did not know whore it w T ould end.
